So... anyone think Ghana has a chance? They have played quite well so far. Its only their first year here.

It would be a huge upset for Ghana to win... but to be honest I would love to see it!

All the shitty countries who sucked before, are all good now. Looking at Ivory Coast, Ukrania, Ghana, Aus , etc. There is no such thing as a bad football countrie imo, and I think Ghana could make it a nice match. Since they were quite good in the first round vs Italy. Brazil is not what it was 4 years ago, so yes they have a good chance ;)

There are no power houses, but I can't give ghana much of a chance. Ghana is playing their best football at the moment, and Brazil isn't, yet Brazil is still waltzing through teams.

Plus, no Essien for Ghana.

Nah, can't see them winning. Essien, who i think is their best player, is suspended.

Brazil is not what they were 4 years ago, but they are still Brazil. Hopefully Ghana can make it a good match though.

Ghana has nothing to lose and they'll probably fight like crazy. I would like to see them win just for the fuck of it, but Brazil is Brazil...Oh well, we'll know in a few hours...

Come on, this sucks! I didn't even know the match started, and it's 1 : 0 already...

Fucking luck, that's what it is! Ghana put up a great match and had more chances, but when you look at the score, it simply says 2 : 0.

I think the second half will be as interesting as the 1st, though...

Its a shame, Ghana has outplayed them. A quick strike from Ronaldo, Ghana being unable to finish, and a missed offside leading to the second goal.

Would really have been a game if Essien would be playing.

allright, I stopped watching at the 80th Minute, after the red for the Ghaneze, they played with a hella big heart and missed oppurtinities, the ball wouldn't go in. And the double offside by the Brazilians, which went unseen also helped them move to the next round. Too bad Ghana, maybe in 4 years :)

Crap, I missed the first 2 goals, had the tv set to espn2... oh well, guess I'll just have to watch the highlights

Ghana played well as most people had thought they might. They just couldn't capitalize on their opportunities.

I agree completely, great description of the 1st half! Second half was different, though, Brazil showed more and Ghana wasted a good number of semi-opportunities on wild shots. But it was a pleasure watching this game.
