I've been looking into affiliate marketing and feel I have a basic understanding. Find a niches, set up a site, and start advertising. I can use tools like semrush and market samurai to find keywords and look into them to get a better understanding of my niche. I get a domain name, preferably aged, and host it using w/e. I was thinking about going with the CTR wordpress theme for my site. My understanding of adsense, SEO, and PPC is that adsense is a google service to get paid and SEO and PPC are ways to attract people to your site. I've read that PPC is better to start with and google adwords is good for that. I'll also use SEO but PPC will be my primary source of traffic. I'll start getting backlinks later on to avoid the Google dance. Am I on the right track? Is my head too far up my ass? I need some advice to get started. I'm a high school student with a job to fund this and currently have about 1k to invest. Also, I'm new to this site

You can flush thousands of dollars down the toilet trying to learn affiliate marketing...

Or you can pay me $300 and be my mentor for a week, but you have to change your user name to Dmitry Medvedev.

Thanks for sharing.

Here is exactly what you need to do:

1. Change your password here and associated email address to something you will never remember again.

2. Delete, throw away, or otherwise discard of any materials, e-books, or resources pertaining to affiliate marketing, PPC, SEO, and everything related.

3. Forget everything you know or think you know about making money on the internet.

4. Run. Run far away and never look back.

PPC is dead, SEO is dead, affiliate marketing is dead. You won't make a cent on the internet, it's a huge conspiracy.

Get away now, before it's too late.

Start off with social ads networks, either PlentyofFish or Facebook. They're a lot more beginner, and budget friendly compared to Adwords. There's always money in dating, gaming, or daily deals offers. Just find the right angle, test ads to get a high CTR, and test out different offers. Use Prosper202 to track.

Good luck
