After talking about this game in the gaming thread I went out and found it for cheap... pretty kick ass game. Really impressive graphics and great overall game play. But damn! Its soooooo hard! I remeber back in the day when I played like Fifa 02-03 I owned everyone. I lost like the first 2-3 games I played! I finally pulled a win off... but damn it was not easy!

If anyone has been getting that itch to play a soccer game with all this World Cup going on this is the one to pick up for sure!

Its on Xbox360/Xbox/PS2!

Interesting. I've been playing Fifa 2005 lately, but usually against a human, so I can't tell how hard a PC opponent really is (I lost a few, won a few).

I've already read that Fifa 06 is too hard even on the easy setting, though, so they may have carried that tradition to the newest game.
 
I only have Fifa 2004. I play it in World Class skill mode, its the only one that they often get a chance to score against me (I win near everytime anyway).

I love Fifa 2004. Does the World Cup game have the Netherlands in it? I hope to god. Please tell me it has Off the ball runs also. :)
 
Fifa 05 has seemed to get really bad reviews, on Amazon.com every single individual if not mistaken bagged the game, I guess it was lacking compared to the others. The World Cup version looks great though!

They really did step up the CPU's AI this year without a doubt.

Like I said... I used to own at these games. Now I'm having trouble beating the worst of the teams.

When someone like Brazil comes along I have no idea how bad they are going to kill me. :p
 
I expect Holland to be in it really, since they kinda played in the WC:p, anyways, im busy gathering the game now, and will play it in an hour or so. I hope it isnt too hard ;)
