I don´t really like to get invovled in political discussions much anymore on forums because of how consuming it can get if you let it.

However what happens on or near the border has special interest to me because I´ve been living in Mexico for the past few years.

Here is a story about a pastor who refused to let his car be searched because there was no probable cause. He was dragged out of his car, tasered, and beaten.

Here´s the link to the video of his story as well as the footage of what happend.

Due to the Patriot Act, when it comes to border control and entry points into the US, probable cause is not needed. It's no different then flying into the US from say Panama, and having customs ask to search your bags, they don't need probable cause.

He had already crossed the border and was 75 miles into the country.

This was an Arizona "internal anti-terrorism checkpoint"

He was severely punished for asserting his 4th amendment rights.

police state ftw

That's the guy that wished death on Obama. I agree with, or at least admire his exercising of his civil/political rights, but anything admirable about him is more than offset by his hateful, christian retardedness.

Having grown up in a former communist/socialist dictatorship, this looks familiar.

If that's the same guy glad this happen to him, how can you claim to be pastor and be so dam stupid and hateful.

And what is a pastor doing in Mexico and coming back to states in middle of night ???? i wonder lol

This is massively fucked up. The US is in some big trouble with this kind of arrogance of power arising.

But at the same time, in these situations you can either put up a fight or you can smile and open your trunk and go about your day. I'd rather go about my day. If there are 1000 more people with me, yeah let's put up a fight.

Read a bunch of stuff about this out of curiousity. So far, the criminal case is being tied up with delay tactics from the prosecuting attorney. It also sounds like he might launch a civil suit depending on the outcome.
