To all you tight assed maggots, bluehost for a limited time, are offering web hosting for $3.95 per month. I think the only catch is you have to pay 24 months upfront:moon:

I actually like bluehost when I was with them.

But I never researched them or anything, and I was very new to the game when I used them.

I didn't at all.. That server was SLOOOWWW and riddled with downtime... I bet if you tried to use them now you would think otherwise.

BlueHost (AND sister companies FastDomain and HostMonster) give oversell a whole new meaning.

I never used bluehost but I used hostmonster which I understand is the same thing.

Worst hosting I have ever used. Put any site with more than a few views a day on there and they will throttle your CPU, threaten to disable your account if you have too many files e.t.c.
I always see people bitching about Hostgator but they are in my experience 1000X better than this shit.

I used to be with bluehost....their servers are way too slow. I didn't like the support/non support their either. In my opinion....very bad host.

I also agree that Bluehost might be cheap, but does not deliver performance or reliability

This is a marketing trick. But mate as long as you get good service and overall good price you are fine :)

I have been with bluehost for last 20 months. Have not got any problem other than some down times....

See, a lot of people are not happy with them. Thanks that Im moved to shopaserver.com and very happy with them.

Do people still buy shared hosting? I thought that died out in the AOL days?

FFS pay for a $25/month VPS and install a nulled cPanel or get DirectAdmin.

Yes, I agree keep away from the oversell hosts and only go with hosts with massively long testimonials lists (you can verify as real and not written by the hosts sales staff...). TVCNet is $3 buck a month, is rock solid and they answer their phones like their lives depend on it.
