Wow, I hadn't even noticed that Blogads has gone "invitation" only. (I've dropped them from all of my blogs except one small one.)
It used to be that back in the day you had to have at least 1000 daily visitors to qualify for admission. So, I'd imagine that if you were close to 1000 daily uniques they'd probably admit you with out a "sponsor".
However, if that doesn't work send me a PM I'll try to hook you up, eventhough my one blog with them in not in your niche.
