Does anyone know why a keyword like luxury yachts for sale would only have an AdWords suggested bid of 94 cents?

Strong buyer intent, no?

Really, really ridiculously expensive item, correct?

A great money-earner, right?

What am I missing here? Is the keyword not as monetizable as it seems? Is Google off their rocker? What?

I'm interested in the answer as well. From what I've seen the Keyword tool can be inaccurate sometimes about bids.

Really no strong intent to buy IMO. It could be kids looking for pictures.

Most buyers for these would not search that.

Look for "luxury yacht dealers" "luxury yachts miami" etc and see what those are like.

Cant agree more with Drake Luxury Yatch in Miami, How to buy Luxury Yatchs Tips. Luxury Yatch for sale is not a buying keyword.

What it is is a Keyword used by sublimnal subconcious mind people that will use them as images in their desktop wall papers.

It was Google's Keyword Planner being a lying bitch, as usual. I went into AdWords and added the keyword, and it's giving me a minimum first-page bid of $3.00 -- about median cost for a yacht-related keyword.
