How many of your sites are solely content sites? arbitrage? other?

Are your biggest earning sites complex sites running lots of scripts with smoke and mirrors, or simple content (for example, Growing Bonsai Trees which Jon mentioned as a niche opportunity)

Always love to hear from the big earners to get motivation.insight... hopefully I'll be in your shoes in not too long.
 


Dude, just go pick something and master it and do it.

You can do forums, arbitrage, porn, affiliate sites. Just pick something and do it.
 
Thought I was mastering arbitrage... made 4 sites earning about $2.50/day and was going to continue buildling them until "Smart Pricing" put me in my place. From avg $1.00 clicks to $0.15 clicks Effed my equation. Re-evaluating.

I suppose it would help if I could learn how to drive traffic at cheapest rates but still, smaller margins are a huge bitch.

organic growth from sites that have a similar topic
people who are genuinely interested in finding information will end up on your site

Mastering is when you can repeat the event tenfold and make it successfull (at least a couple hundred $ profit/day).

I don't worry so much about maintaining high clicks as I do getting cheap traffic.

Do you want me to make your website too? Dude, just keep trying and trying. I think AdWords is fine, same with Overture. Testing others now...
 
wow... just trying to get some dialogue going (isn't that the purpose of a forum?) I've made 4 websites in the past week... I wouldn't exactly say I'm just begging for help with no action.

Silence is better than mean-spirited sarcasm.
 
It isn't mean spirited, but you are coming across clueless. You sohuld be able to make AT LEAST 20 websites/day (I assume you're doing it by hand) if you are doing this full time.
 
20 websites a day? Holy crap.

I probably could do that if I put in FT job hours and used the same template for each site. Then again I take about 15-minutes on each to SEO the site and crap. And I probably spend way too much time trying to find the "right domain name". I think I spend too much time looking for the "Perfect" opportunity where I think the stars align instead of just pumping out site after site after site.
 
If you're doing this strictly for arbitrage, who cares about seo? Hell, don't even worry about registering seperate domains - pick up a broad domain and go with sub-domains or folders.

Dude, seperate the 2. Arbitrage you don't need original content or anything. If you want to better the world with your content make it a seperate site.
