I have a list of 10 or so domains I know for a fact are not being renewed. What's the best way to pick these up without contacting the folks who currently own them? Some sort of service I could use? Tons of them out there, no idea which work best.

honestly ive had a lot of luck with godaddys back order. Ive picked up quite a few really good domains that i was waiting on for a while with it.

It also depends on the registrar.

Some have exclusive pre-release deals with drop companies and good names will never make it to the public drop. Namejet, and Snapnames have the best software for picking up the popular names that actually drop. When I really want a name, I pre-order with both Namejet and Snapnames. You could also try pool and godaddy if they aren't super competitive names.

If you really want a domain and you're sure other people want it too, and will be placing backorders themselves, make sure you place a backorder at all the top 3 snatching services; Enom, Pool and Snapnames.

Else just go with Pool.com. They have the highest success rate.

Also, If it the domain is registred with Network Solutions, make sure you go with Snapnames because they have a partnership which gives them priority for repossessing expiring domains.

It's a netsol domain and I put a $59 bid in at snapnames. Thanks for the info!
