There s a domain i want to buy that according to godaddy whois expires march 1st.

What's the best way for me to make sure i snatch this domain name before the current owner renews it? Is there even a way at all to do that?

I hate to put a spanner in the works, but i bet that pool.com will grab the name before godaddy does even if it is registered with godaddy, i know this does not make sense but backorder it with both and see what happens.

I have seen many instances when a name has been registered with godaddy and it was backordered with them but it was snatched by pool first.

Also check to make sure the name is not up for sale or with tdnam...

The reason i say to check if it is up for sale is because it could be and it may be cheap for you to buy it.

The person may also be aware that it is expiring and extend it.

Yeah this shit happened to me a few weeks ago. Serves me right for not researching the process better.

Include Snapnames.com on your list. Put a backorder in at all 3 and you should get it (unless someone else also puts an order in and you end up in a bidding war).
