I've seen a few threads about top Keyword tools, but I'm looking for some advice on SEO tools. I see people use Google & SerpIQ for keywords but what are some other SEO tools that may offer more features? Can be free or not, just wanted to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you will get better answers if you mention what exactly you are looking to achieve. Build links? research keywords for content? find EMDs?...etc

Plenty of SEO tools out there. They do different things. Some are good, many are pure crap.

are there tools that can really help you with links? I mean it seems with things such as Penguin in existence your best bet to avoid being "spam" is to build content and allow the links to build naturally. Am I wrong? Very new at this so feel free to help.

Just gave Scrapebox a look, is it more of a "black hat" tool?

Scrapebox has so many uses that it's impossible to classify it as either a black hat or white hat tool.

Then again, I don't think there's really such a thing as a white hat tool. But you could use Scrapebox for something like scraping blogs in your niche to leave relevant, manual comments on.

Tools are only as good as the people who use them. No matter what tools you buy or make, you will always have to look at their capabilities with a little imagination.

Scrapebox has a lot of very powerful addons and I use it daily for my clients and my own personal sites. I would be happy to share my recipe with you. Add Skype.

Okay thanks a lot, yeah that particular feature did catch my eye. That will save quite a bit of time.

Each SEO tool has a completely different use, they each specialize in different things.

But one of my must have tools are Ultimate keyword tool and Scrapebox

Here's my list

SENuke = Every kind of links out there exept for .edu's and gov's but are Very costly (Not suggested for newbies)

AMR = Article Links (you need to invest on scrapebox to find more AMR sites)

Bookmarking Demon = Bookmark Links
(need to get 100's of email accounts to make it work properly)

Scrapebox = The Star! Most of the tools mentioned above uses scrapebox to import more and more sites outside of the general used sites... Also it can be used for 1. backlinking of backlinks... 2. to harvest High PR sites and manually post to them... I use this 5 high PR links manually posted by myself everyday to everysites I have..

RSS Submit = Costly $200 one time payment but will assure you will have your backlinks created above Backlinked properly... (Not suggested for newbies)

I got more but aren't using them.. This 5 are my tools everyday Hope that helped brah!

Nice! Thanks alot, Scrapebox is getting a lot of love. Fan Favorite.

Once you have created the content of your anchior links, you will want a decent directory finder/submitter in your armoury: The Fast Directory Submitter from G Lock software is very easy to use - and offers tips and advice too.
Scrapebox sounds excellent! I need to take a look!

and I forgot to mention

bad ass app that I've been using everyday is SBlinkchecker...
one fucktard that saves time when I'm backlinking all my backlinks... Will definitely save your time as well when doing some RSS feeds etc and will just take you minutes to look up your "live" links before doing a blast
