All the best one word .club domains are going.

Seems a very cool domain. Have a couple myself.

What are some really good .club domains you can come up with for a member type site? :bigear:

Example fishing.club, driving.club, easymeals.club.

What would you suggest?

Let me know and thanks! :D

Thats 2 words adam. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? ;)

@ (O_o) ThatsWhatTheySaidAboutOtherDomains.club.

You sound like the person that said the same thing about colour tv's and space travel.

Its more than just another money grab TLD by ICANN.

Should every site be .com only?

New TLD's were slowly being released all the time. First it was .com only. Then co.uk, .net, .org etc

It was bound to happen eventually.

Now there are many others and they categorize the site. Example joes.garage or fun.games. You know what the site is about because of the TLD name.

The same applies with a .club domain name. Whether it was a real club or an online community. So why wouldnt something like pitbull.club or breakdancing.club be any more successul than the .com version of it?

You are wasting your money bro. I bet you also bought up a lot of .co domains when it launched. How did that work out for ya lol

http://nic.club/ hiring 50 cent for their promo? Lol dude come on, its a pump and dump. No one is going to start using .club domains. https://www.google.com/search?q=site:.club shows 2mil results. Its all small websites.

Find me another off TLD that a Fortune 500 company or major business/website is using that is not main TLD (.com//.net//.org//.co.uk//.info, etc) and ranking in the SERPs. Oh strange, you wont find many.

.museum came out in 2001. How popular is it now, 13 years later? Thats right, basically no one knows it exists or uses it. sTLDs are a joke and money grab//waste of money.

Keep on investing in your money in useless domains ;)

I've never bought a single .co domain.

I sold 2 .info's for £50k few years back though that I only paid $2 dollars for. That worked out pretty well for me. That was when .info's were deemed more spammy than they are now too.

Its interesting how you throw the .info in there with the .com, co.uk, org and net. If you would have done that 5 years ago I would have probably laughed.
Now you are putting a .info in the same light as .com etc but saying that .club or any other TLD .garage .insurance .money .marketing .oap etc will never last?

They are here to stay.

.museum indeed like the .edu's and .govs that were reserved for governmental and educational institutes.

But not every site needs to be a fortune 500 company to be successful still.

I have been ranking several .club sites recently just as easily as I have .com's in the past. And so far the users like the .club domain.

It's probably tough for you to accept change now that you're getting a bit settled in your ways. But you're going to have to get used to it bro ;)

I appreciate what you are saying but if they are not worth squat why have all the best one word .club domains been taken already? lol

I digress. I see where you are coming from. I also feel the same in that .com is the daddy of all TLD's. But that's not to say any webmaster shouldnt have a dabble in a few different versions of your own .com site or otherwise.

That is part and parcel of being an IM, rolling with the times, jumping on bandwagons and trying new things out.

Thats just being human.

I am not a domainer and never been a fan of that entire industry but I respect their hustle.

If you are a domainer and sling off TLD domains, more power to you.

Its just that there are so many stupid ones its ridiculous, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains#ICANN-era_generic_top-level_domains The internet should not go in this direction. In 50 years imagine how crazy its going to be if this trend continues.

Congrats on your .info sale. Best I've done is sit on 2 .com's and then 3 years later a random guy contacted me bought them for $1500 each.

I know some seem a bit more fun and somewhat unneccessary than anything else .cool for example .christmas .menu and .glass or .kim for people named kim.

That means you can expect other names to follow .mike .lucifer .jesus but how do they come up with these and where does it end! ;)

DotClub Home - DotClub hiring 50 cent for their promo? Lol dude come on, its a pump and dump. No one is going to start using .club domains. https://www.google.com/search?q=site:.club shows 2mil results. Its all small websites.

Im aware of nic.club and they actually feature one of my sites on their live sites page nic.club/live-sites/

And yes they did, you can check it on their youtube channel and g+ page.

How do you mean "all small websites"? You have somehow checked all 2 million of them and know the traffic they are all getting?

Could you share that software with me whatever it is your using that determines if they are small sites or not?

Actually, some of those are really cool sites. And looking through that list, its interesting to see how people are using the .club domains though.

So if there's 2 million+ club domains already when they have only been out for a little while now (about 3 months). How can you say nobody is going to use them dude?

I think a lot are and are just parking them. Like you, sit on them for years and see what become of them. Then flip when they have some authority on them.

hehe why not. That could be worth millions in a few years! Given the sex industry is worth a few billion and its the one and only reason the internet really exists anyway.

How they mocked the .info TLD's but some of them are even found on the internet map today is your site in that bubble? There's some big infos and all sorts of TLD's in it.

Just sayin. ;)
