Best offer(s) for a direct buy on a classifieds site

I'm negotiating a direct banner buy on a classifieds site that receives around 140k+ pageviews / month.

Since its a classifieds site, it spreads across many niches / categories. What would be a good strategy for the kind of offers I should place here. Is the traffic good enough to get something started?

Why are you negotiating a buy if you don't already have a solid campaign in place? Honestly, your current idea just sounds like something that will burn your money.

Here's how it's ideal to do this:
1. Have an already high performing lander+offer
2. Have high converting high CTR banners

Plug that in your buy.

Because currently you'll need to split test several banners per each lander and multiple offers in that vertical to find what works. AND even then it could show your site placement just sucks and doesn't convert. So it'll be hard for you to know if the problem is in your new banner+lander+offer combination or the quality of the traffic you're getting.

That's why it's a lot easier if you do a buy with a campaign that's already performing well for you because you're effectively minimizing your variables and can faster pin point what part of your campaign needs to be optimized.
