Best Mailing List Software?

Hi - I want to start a mailing list. I want users to be able to type their name and email address into two separate fields on my site, and be automatically entered into the list.

Messages should start with "Hi, Name" etc.

I want each email message to have a 'click here to unsubscribe' link at the bottom too, so that when the user clicks it, it automatically drops them from the list.

I've done mailings before with a program called 1st Mass Mailer but I find it too inconvenient for me -- all I did was have a notepad file filled with emails and sent that off... so users didn't have any unsubscribe option or anything like that.

Also - how do I prevent my emails from landing in say, hotmails spam box? I am running a legitimate mailing here, and I would like it if these mails ended up where they were supposed to.

Does it get passed spam filters? IE hotmail?

Aweber has a spam meter so it tells you the rating before you send your mail to your list. If you are signing up you get the option to use opt-in or not and once you choose you can not change it.
