Maxmind is pretty accurate unless you're targeting tiny obscure cities/villages/whatever that may generally get folded into bigger ones.
For example in Ottawa Ontario if you targeted Vanier, Orleans or Kanata you would need to seriously know your postal codes and make specific landing pages for these places, cause Maxmind ain't going to pick that shit up.
