I'm building a site selling technical industry manuals. There will be 100+ different manuals, most of the time customers will just be after 1 download. But there may be cases where a customer will download 2 or 3 manuals but probably not more.

I want to build an ecommerce system to make it more legit looking, and want to utilise the digital download feature for the.

I've done a few preliminary research. But looking for pointers for more experienced gay webmasters on this.

here's what I found

Opencart doesn't support it inhouse but there are good third party apps (pay for) like fileshop and egoods which need to be installed.

Zencart supports it off the batt, but isn't as flexible as opencart apps in that it doesn't use amazon s3 to store files or anything. But having said that self hosting shouldn't be a problem. Expensive max 15 or so downloads a day which are 200MB max in size. Well within capability of most web hosts.

haven't looked elsewhere yet. Anyone got some experience with this?

I am using cubecart for ecommerce solution and i would say its very easy to customize even you can use joomla for the ecommerce solution for you

I think, you can't find all the things which you want in free ecommerce cms.
