They are priced the way they are because of the quality. I'm not going to sell something for %75 less than its value because its not made to spec. If someone is in need of a site, one of these may do.
 
Funnily I just stumbled upon one of the sites you did (Fawnt) today. It's owned by someone I know (a little) and I was actually suprised about the clean design.

Overall, really nice designs.

The competition really got tough though.
 
Thanks. I am so mad at myself for selling Fawnt. No offense to your friend, but he kind of lost focus on the point of the site. I really do miss that thing :(
 
From a designers point of view you are trying to make a quick buck, which is fair enough - however, if you did design these; would you rather not have followed custom specification from a single customer for the same price in order to build some sort of client base?

It amazes me that designers are still offering designs for sale that nobody has asked for.

Now, onto the designs themselves; very basic and severely over priced.

I pretty much agree with kblessinggr sentiments here.

Cool story hansel.

I have done plenty of client work. I am rejecting clients because I have to much to do. I'm pretty sure this is a buy sell forum, I can sell what I want, without asking for your permission, or anyone else.

Onto the designs themselves -- just because a design is simple, doesn't mean it isn't worth a lot. If that was the case, a lot of design companies wouldn't be in business right now. That just proves to me you don't know much about the industry. Sure, the designs are already made, but that doesn't mean I have to reduce the price. The same effort and quality went into each. Hence the price tags.
 
As a designer, I sometimes end up with designs I don't need, or I get bored and I design something to sell off just because my workload was light. It's hard to sell but they do go. Besides, if someone can use the design, who gives a shit? Custom design varies anywhere from $150 to $750 (sometimes more) for this quality. A little bit web 2.0 for my tastes but to each his own.

You do really nice work, a tad expensive but nice.
