Anyone here had one?

Without going too in depth, I am weighing the good vs. the bad of a B complex injection...

Wondering if any of you have done it, and especially curious if any of you have done it yourself, or purchased it yourself (Mexico, Canada, Internet, anywhere that isn't the US)

Let me know... If you HAVE done it, do you know all of the ingredients in the particular formula you had? I'd like to compare what I have here with what someone else has taken, and compare the experience...

Weight loss injections that break down the natural structure of the body.

I have seen pictures of the resulting stretch marks, not a pretty sight.

Excersize will and always continue to be the best and most effective way to lose weight!

As taken from drugdigest.org

"CYANOCOBALAMIN (Vitamin B12) is a synthetic (man-made) form of vitamin B12. Naturally occurring vitamin B12 is found in fish, seafood, milk, egg yolk and fermented cheeses. Vitamin B12 is essential to the development of healthy blood cells, nerve cells, and proteins in the body and for the normal metabolism of fats and carbohydrates in the body. Lack of vitamin B12 can result in anemia, stomach problems, and nerve damage. Cyanocobalamin treats or prevents vitamin B12 deficiency and a resulting type of anemia, called pernicious anemia. Pernicious anemia occurs in patients who do not have enough vitamin B12 in their diet (e.g., strict vegetarians) or who cannot adequately absorb the vitamin due to a defect or disease of the stomach or intestines. Generic cyanocobalamin injections are available."

Alot of baseball players seem to take it. This is the injection Roger Clemens and Miguel Tejada "said" they took when accused of using steroids.

i've had to have a course of b-12 shots but only because my levels were low, and i was weak and fainting all the time, never heard of injecting yourself..?

I got them because of anemia and I was vegan. It was once a month in the ass by a doctor. Now once a year if I need them. Never did anything about my ass size though.

good: it helps you if you suffer from anemia
bad: it doesn't help if you try to lose weight

so forget about anything that says b12 is a weightloss drug.

that would be the same nonsense as believing in ebooks revealing a multi-million dollar secret.

lol

I have heard of them being used for weight loss purposes, but that is far from my use. :)

I was just wondering if anyone had tried it minus a prescription... There is a 50/50 debate on the effects of B complex on fatigue. Im 22, 6'0, 185lbs, and I have the energy and physical drive of a 72 year old...
Im always tired. I quit all my bad habits, even fast food, but it still remains... It isnt like, SEVERE, but Im just lazy as shit physically sometimes... Figured maybe I'd give it a try...

I self medicate, but only when needed. Mainly due to a lack of health insurance.

Anyways, Ive got a killer deal on B complex, and I was j/w if anyone here takes B complex injections often, and if so, if I could compare ingredients...

I get one every month. I go to a diet doctor, specifically a bariatrics specialist. I go there not to lose weight, but to make sure my weight stays where it is (I'm 5'6, 123 lbs.). I get nutritional counseling, vitamins, and a B-12 shot.

I ripped my knee apart in gymnastics when I was a teenager and developed arthritis pretty severely in my late 20s. I had knee surgery which afterward felt like I had been dragged by a semi at 100 mph. After 6 weeks of just trying to walk, then months of therapy I was told that if I ever become overweight I risk more surgery (the knees are the first thing to feel the effects of too much weight) and I'd rather eat healthy and stay thin to avoid it. So far so good.

As far as energy goes...the B-12 shot isn't a magic bullet. It keeps my levels balanced but doesn't give me extra energy. I take a multi vitamin, a b-complex, a calcium with D supplement (helps with the b vitamins) and a chromium supplement. To me personally, the chromium makes the biggest difference in how I feel. THAT gives me energy. On the days I eat like crap (which by the way, has a huge effect on my energy levels), the chromium seems to balance it out. If I eat like crap for too many days in a row (too much sugar, fat and or white flour based food) I feel like the way you're describing.

Also....I don't know where you live, but a lot of people swear by SAM-E in the wintertime in the north (I live in PA). The darker days and gray weather creates an imbalance. The SAM-E kind of works like an anti-depressant, equalizing seratonin levels which truly do make you feel listless and draggy if they are low.

Green tea is better for you than coffee and provides greater weight loss benefits if that is what you are after. If you are going for an energy kick then get you some caffeine and ephedrine (Mega Pro Vasopro was the brand I used in the past). 200mg caffeine pill and 25mg of ephedrine and you will be ready to go.

I do take a multi-vitamin, err, more than one, but I just started, so I have yet to notice any effects. My grandma sends me like $100 worth of vitamins every month, with the usual "Please take these honey, I worry about your diet and stress, and you need to stay healthy" lol. Grandma rocks.

As for diet, my diet is terrible. I eat fast food most of the time, and have done so for the last 10 years of my life. 75% of those 10 years has been spent eating 1 fast food meal per day, and filling the rest of my intake with mountain dew... I drink 2-4 liters of dew per day. I quit smoking, I quit chewing, I quit drugs and I quit drinking, but I can't for the life of me quit the dew. Ive tried.

That covers the caffeine part.

As for excersize, I really do need to do more. But I am so fucking lethargic that I can't imagine doing anything that takes physical energy. I want to, the drive is there, but when it comes down to it, my body talks me out of it. I live in a 3rd story apartment, and have now for 5 months, and I still feel like im going to die every single time i climb the stairs... My gf makes fun of me.

On top of that, I just got out of the hospital 45 minutes ago... I got these really sharp intense pains in my chest, right where my heart was... Then my left arm started to hurt really bad, then my left arm went completely numb. So, I went to the ER. Did an EKG, Xray, full bloodwork, and they found nothing. Told me I damaged the muscle tissue between my heart and rib cage, but I think thats bullshit. I could feel my heart struggling to pump what felt like tar through my veins.

So maybe this is where I finally push myself to use those brand new Adidas running shoes I bought 5 months ago and haven't even tried on yet...

Ok first off, like everyone else said, you need to start excersizing. Just go jogging or start lifting weights and you'll notice an increase in energy within a couple weeks, maybe less.

Injections of B12 is a bad idea. There's a reason that it's controlled. Maybe you have ADD? I have ADD and even though I excersize daily, I still need Adderall to function, even though I take an extremely small dose.

Forget the B12 and go with excersize. Also, start taking a multivitamin and maybe some alternative supplements, anything that is sold over the counter is relatively safe.

I drink 2-4 liters of dew per day.

You'd rather inject B12 in you from mexico rather than stopping these horrible habits?

2-4 liters of mtn dew a day? That's just fucking gross

do the math on how much sugar and caffeine you are intaking - ish

no wonder you are so lazy - it'd take 10 pots of coffee to give a energy boost that you could actually feel

^^what he said. You are actually negating the effects of the caffine with all that sugar, just setting yourself up for the inevitable crash. Learn to drink coffee. Try it with lots of cream (cream has fat but low sugar, it sounds like your not concerned with the fat issue) and some sort of sugar subtitute like splenda, sweet and low, equal...etc.

With excercise only do moderate excercise. I tried running for a while but even after a few months I was exahusted from the running. Either a slow jog or fast walking. This ended up give me a noticable energy boost.

I agree with nachoninja, there is nothing in the world that's going to make you feel better if you're chugging that much sugar and caffeine a day. The sugar is making you sluggish by screwing up your insulin levels and the caffeine is to the point like nacho said...it's worthless. Also, read Fast Food Nation and you'll find out what all that fast food is doing to you. It's a wonder you're breathing at all.

Poison in...poison out. No way in hell should you even think that you can feel normal just by taking injections. You're doing too many negative things that would continue to counteract them.

Give up the caffeine slowly by drinking half your normal amount, then 1/3, etc. If you try to go cold turkey you'll get killer caffeine headaches. Start walking. 20 minutes of walking is nothing, even very obese people can manage 20 minutes at an even pace. Work your way up to faster walking, then increase the time.

Eat eggs, every single day. Replace a fast food meal with a meal that has at least two eggs in it. Eggs are the perfect food.

Exercise does give you energy. The bad thing is, when you really don't feel like doing it, it's hard to convince yourself that expending energy is going to pay off but it does. Big time.
