For all you big Amazon affiliates out there, I was curious as to what the average product price that a consumer spends on an Amazon item?

u serious? if you go to amazon you will see items ranging from2 bucks up to $20k what kind of stupid question is that ?
Pretty much not a dumb question at all, I bet they meant how much can you expect the average user to spend on amazon.
I'm sure amazon has a average, but that data is most likely not public.
If you are in a specific niche, then I would suggest doing a average price of the products you're promoting.

anyways it would be interesting to know how much the average person spends on amazon. if I had to guess I will say its in between $100 - $200.
I have several amazon sites and the sites with a $200 product only get a few more hits than the sites with a $2000 product.
If you research a niche and target it well then it really doesn't matter what the average is because you are not targeting the average. Even people with small incomes will spend big on certain items that are important to them.

I would imagine this to be extremely low. I dont think I have ever spent less than $100 at a time on amazon.
