What is the cause of an advertiser automatically rejecting your application? How can they possibly know that you aren't a perfect fit for their program if they haven't even really looked at your account?

The advertisers don't really give specs that are detailed and I can't feature what could be in my sign-up info that sets up a red flag.

Do you live outside the united states?

Good question. I've had a few automatic rejections because I'm not in U.S. But if you contact them by mail and explain that you're targeting U.S. audience, they can approve you manually.

I did it once and it worked for me.

Yeah the advertiser can set that they only want US affiliates which means I've been rejected from loads just for being in the UK. I think they can also set it to reject based on your Network Earnings score.

I think both are short sighted moves from affiliate managers but they are definitely happening.

Do they look at your current performance as well? I found that I got rejected a lot more before I started making some money on the network.

I used to manage CJ programs and know lots of managers that set their programs up wrong IMHO.

Many programs auto-deline high fraud countries like China and Indonesia but to decline everyone except US is just stupid. Even if the products can only ship in the US there are a ton of good affiliates that drive US traffic but who live in UK, Aus and Canada. I also don't believe in auto declining based on network status. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed.
