Auto create subdomains with cpanel?

Hey all,

Just a quick question, not sure if it's even possible. At the moment, if I want to create subdomains, I have to log into my cpanel and do it from there. Is there another way? Some code or something?

Basically I want to be able to do large batches of these and it's rather tedious with cpanel. If there isn't a way, fair enough, but just thought I'd ask

My friend Krakjoe has made some sweet scripts/programs relating to this type of stuff.

His WHM tool might do this. Why do you need to make so many subdomain?

It's a bit illogical, I guess, but I prefer to use subdomains instead of folders for my arbi sites. I just find the domain "looks" better that way. I don't think I'll be creating lots and lots of subdomains in one go, but now that I know it's possible it's something else I can look into.

very easy stuff, everything can be automated with apache mod_rewrite
google it, read about it, if you can't figure it out, IM me

wildcard dns & mod rewrite I believe should work for you. Some hosts allow wildcard DNS else you need a dedicated server see Photo Matt » Wildcard DNS and Sub Domains
