Basically what I plan to do is create a few genre specific blogs and link them to my main site.
Just say the Big Bad G bans these auto blogs would it also strike of my main site that is linked to it?
I think the rule of thumb is that you are not blamed for the sites that link to you, but if you link to a dubious site, then you get a penalty. If your main site does not link to the autoblogs, that site should be safe from repercussions.
