As adwords guidelines don't allow bridge pages, what...

So I am ready to build my first LP, though my question is about adwords and bridge page.

I understand that you can't promote and ad which transfer a visitor to a single page website with only one link to the affiliate link,

So what other pages or things I should consider to put on my LP for google adwords? how do you structure landing pages?

build a real site, provide value and get ppl on your list
So ppl don't use LP's any more ? I don't think so,
I want to build LP for a really small offer,
in terms of "real sites" u mean that I suppose to put some articles on it? what exactly?

Just to clear out this point,
I have an ppc ad that links to landing page that has affiliate link to wall clocks,
How that landing page should look like?

that'd be the best answer.
thanks in advance.

Nobody here know the answer and will just tell you what frank said above cause that is the official google line

What people do in reality is just build crappy one page 'bridge' landers and then rinse and repeat when they get slapped.

I have been thinking about actually creating a "landing site"
so instead of a single domain for a single product, make a giant interlinked sites with all your affiliate products. It might be enough to fool the big G

1. Link all your landers together. Say you are doing wall clocks, Your domain is MY-WALL-CLOCKS.COM. Build content on the whole site and make it one big lander.

2. Mask your affiliate links. I do not do this all the time but it is good advice. Anytime you have an affiliate link mask it and make it no follow. This prevents them from realizing it is an affiliate link and they will just move along on the site.

Also, I say do not worry to much about it. Trying to fool G, profiting from your pages, tweaking landers, optimizing keywords. Those are all things and many more you have to worry about. The best route as always is to test, test, test and then well test again.

.

this seems to be the way. just expand the landing page into a site. May actually pay off in the long run as you get returning visitors buying multiple products.

have you tried building a site with good content that leads your visitors to the buy button.

These sites do have great content that lead to the Buy button, however what we are discussing is the topic of bridge pages. Meaning the only purpose of our page is to Lead to the Buy Button.

And Google doesnt want that. (we are talking about PPC here)
Their terms basicly spell out that if the only purpose of your landing page is to drive the user to another page then it is no good.

Unfortunately this is how (EVERYBODY) here makes their living.

So its a dance.
