when doing an arbi site, do you buy .com domain names or others? ..or do you get a domain name at all and host your arbi sites under one domain name in sub folders?

You won't every get any natural traffic from it, only what you buy. Just use subfolders under a generic domain. There's no need to make it pretty by using separate domains.

One domain, either folders or subdomains. I use subdomains so that I can set up adsense channels easily.

I agree. If it's a niche that I might want to expand on in the future, I'll get a domain name.
