Torch Web Browser - Your All in One Internet Browser

Apparently it's based off Chromium source code.

I gave it a try and it's fast and has a really nice music option where like Pandora, you can put in your favorite artists and it makes a great playlist...plus unlike Pandora you can skip around from one track to the next.

It also has a download feature built in that will download Facebook and YouTube vids.

My only concern is that my virus scanner is marking some things about it as malware. Can't tell if it's a false positive or a real threat.

I was going to, got turned off by the numerous reports of malware. I use Maxthon as my alternative chromium browser. It may be just as bad though. Daily driver is Firefox.

why would anyone ever go away from Chrome and Firefox?

All "free, great and new" browsers go with malware by default. why would you even stuck your nose into it?

Chrome is great and I use it as my biz browser for work but I like to keep my work stuff separate from my other stuff, just because bookmarks pile up too quickly.

I use to use Firefox but it sucks at playing videos and the plugin crashes constantly.

I'd like to find a fast, secure browser made off of Chromium that you can download.
