I have some German one word .com's and I've looked at the translations and dictionaries and kind of know their literal meaning... Can someone who speaks German explain how they're used so I know what to do with them? They have millions of results in google, so they're common words I think. Maybe I shouldn't stay up late and buy domains. Thanks for any help!

beschaftigt.com
erweitert.com
prufen.com
tatsachlich.com

OK, I hope you have gotten the UMlaut ones, unless you have, these mean shit.

I am using a : to mark the Umlauts, so a a: would be a Umlaut, etc..

That would be bescha:ftigt --> busy As in "Er ist sehr bescha:ftigt, kann er Sie zuru:ckrufen?" --> He is very busy right now, can he call you back?

erweitert --> extended

pru:fen --> to test something, more like to test correctness of as in proofread, test machinery... "Wir mu:ssen noch die Abgaswerte pru:fen" --> We have to check the exhaust values.

tatsa:chlich --> real, really as in "it really happened" --> "Es ist tatsa:chlich passiert"

All in all, pretty shite, except for erweitert or pru:fen (of you got the umlaut) tatsa:chlich.com I could see as a good humour / weird news domain.

Did you buy them used? Are they aged? Use them for generics, where the URL doesn't matter.

I bought them new. I was bored and drunk. I didn't get the UMlaut ones. I honestly didn't know you could get those characters in a URL. Moniker said it didn't recognize them so I just switched them out with the letters without even looking into it. No more 3 am drunken domaining for me.

Good thing I at least got one that isn't completely useless. erweitert- extended warranty site? Maybe. Extended penis... hmm? Thanks for your help! I appreciate it!
