Anyone signup for Shared Hosting with fake info?

yes we had tried it a few years ago. The hosting companies are wise to it and they actually have some script that identifies pre-paid cards and you aren't even able to get past sign-up
Not really hard seeing as prepaid card numbers have a common pattern (its actually done on purpose to identify a card as a prepaid/gift card).

I'm using a prepaid AMEX card w/ no problems so far.
If you find a host that doesn't take prepaid cards try using their PayPal checkout option (without signing in obviously) and enter your fake info and prepaid card through PP's checkout.
Also have a few domains regged this way.

Before activating your hosting account they'll verify your identity firstly.It is better to provide the correct personal information ,otherwise, your hosting account will be suspended.
Why? No reason really unless you are hosting child porn and if you are, fuck you.
You can get hosting in europe and china that allow everything except child porn with no questions asked and will tell the US authorities to fuck off.
