Yeah, I recently signed up after seeing a banner ad here on WF, and was wondering about a specific concern regarding business ethics.
A few months back, I got scooled "Thinking" I was buying a "Google Kit for $1.99"
Come to find out it was a sham, and I had my credit card shut down before experiencing recurring (unauthorized) deductions being taken from our account. As was being reported by 100's of others.
Once we'd learned how many people were complaining about how immoral these ads were, we found about affiliate marketing shortly after (6 weeks ago), so in a way I'm grateful.
But, I just signed on with Yep! Revenue, and don't want to make any negative assumptions towards Yep!, but two of the merchant programs they offer under "biz opps" are indeed Google offers. I always preview the landing pages to have some knowledge of what I'm promoting or selling, ya know.
In doing so, the landing page is exact to the one that snookered us a few months ago. Needless to say, I'm not looking to "Scam" people or "push" any program that doesn't provide what they're promising.
Does anybody know... if in fact the Google programs offered by Yep! are indeed "Bogus Google Kits" that are not approved or associated to Google, and really don't exist at all?
Truth is, given the pleasure of finding the person who stole from me ( be it $1 or a Million), I'd beat their fucking ass! So, politely put, I'm not looking to be the dickhead who has 100,000,000 honest affiliate programs to promote, who instead chooses to "Scam" for a quick-buck.
I have more respect for a prostitute than those who choose that path!
Please, if anyone knows of the 2 Google Biz Opps w/ Yep! Revenue Network being the ones ripping people off, do let me know. I filled out the 1st page hoping to see, and was taken to a credit card check-out, just like the one that burned me prior. (Which I can admit my ignorance for having paid without seeing the product, but it was only supposed to be $2, luckily I Googled shortly after, to learn people were having their credit cards raped for $100's of dollars by the scammers placing or promoting the ads)
I will still use Yep! as I'm sure they are either unaware or take no responsiblity for their independent (paying) merchants content, but I will won't stand for theivery, unauthorized credit card fraud, or be the tool promoting that kind of shit! (I'd be better off selling dope! ~At least with that people know what they're getting!) A practice I've long abandoned mind you.:rasta:
Again, I think Yep! has some decent programs to promote, and won't lose any sleep over my measly $2 loss, but I gotta know if there one in the same?
Thanks... Just trying to keep it REAL!
