Well I haven't posted for years, but I'm still kicking. I've been pushing face masks online in 2020 and have a bitcoin project going. Still living in Hong Kong as well.

4 years ago I was very anti Trump which went against the majority opinion of people on this forum. I insisted he was a showman-cum-conman. Turns out I was right. Trump was a divisive ignoramus that pushed conspiracies and even incited his badger brained followers to break into the Capitol Building. His coronavirus policies were also a total disaster.

Truth be told though I did like Trump's foreign policy. But then he turned me off with his bad performance during the pandemic, particularly the bad unqualified medical advice he gave on tv.

Anyone here regret voting for Trump? If so, why?

I didn't vote for Trump either time, I voted Libertarian like I always do. But one thing I found interesting is how the DNC changed their party platform to remove all instances of "racial equality" (treating people the same regardless of race) and replaced it with "racial equity", which by definition requires racial preferences and discrimination to achieve equal outcomes by race.

A major political party that controls The Executive and Legislative branches got elected on a platform that codifies racial preferences and discrimination. I know Trump was a big fat meanie pants on Twitter, but damn....hard to not look through history and see this ending badly.

i logged on for the first time in years just to like this post.

I'm Canadian so I didn't have the option to vote for him or anyone else, but at some point I started getting scared he would start a new war (and possibly enact conscription in western countries). I remember him saying "I'm a war time president" or something along those lines.

I'm a Canadian and would gladly take Trump over the rainbow flag waving pot heads we have running our country now. Be glad that you have conservatives to help keep things balanced.

I did not vote for Trump and would not vote for him if he were the last candidate on Earth. He is the exact opposite of everything a leader should be, and everything a human should be. On the day that being an obese septuagenarian finally catches up with him, I'm going to throw a party to raise funds for a urinal-shaped headstone.

Trumpists are not conservatives, they are white nationalists

Voting, like going someplace to vote with a voting machine? I thought that was exposed as a scam back in 2008 or so. Probably well before that, really.

I didn't exercise my voting rights last election. However, for the next, surely I will vote and will vote the best leader. Hopefully, there will be great candidates by that time.

He did everything to become a president, amazing campaign but he did not do nothing for this 4 years to vote for him the second time

All elections seem to be the least worseless of two bad choices.

This last one was no different.

But I think he has jumped the shark a little bit and hope we have someone better to run next time.
