I do. Apparently the mods there are now handing out infractions when you respond to a post on a thread that you started, and consider it "bumping".

Le sigh..

The majority of the site is junk, but there are some useful things every once in a while. Freebies, super-cheap domains, databases, that sort of thing. You have to wade through a lot of junk, though.

And yeah, I got an infraction for making a comment about a site in the For Sale section looking nice. I think the mods are pretty cowboy about the rules... they enforce what they want when they want. There's rampant piracy on there and they don't do anything about it.

That pretty much sums it up. In my situation, a mod had the balls to give me not one, but THREE infractions within a 3 minute period, for a single post. And without explanation, with the exception that I'm apparently not allowed to post "SOLD" in a thread that I happened to be selling a design. Gee, how will anyone know whether the item has been sold? When I did send a pm asking wtf, he gave me a fourth. I kid you not..and I was even polite about it..

I gave up on DP when some guy said- how much money will I make from this offer if I get this many clicks... and I said "I don't know"

They said I was trying to increase my post count. What the fuck? Why the fuck would I do that at DP? Apparently, DP'ers are more interested in having a high post count than actually making money, so they have to police that.

I was just saving this guy from the next 10 responses which said the same exact thing (I don't know), in 10 times as many words.

I went there once, first thread I read which had a link to WF, then never went back.

I have not used the site yet, but was considering it. I guess now I know to not put sold. Can you edit your original post to be able to indicate that your item is no longer available?

is a good market place, aka you can sell products to plenty of noobs there, you can outsource boring work very cheap, but has a lot of drawbacks.

I don't have a dp account. The only time I wind up there is when someone here links to them (which the mods and Jon love so if you want to get on their good side keep doing that) Or when I'm doing a google search and the link drops me in.

I posted a thread asking a very legitimate question in a very polite and professional manner, and below was what I found in my user panel shortly after. (Just some random prick's comment along with him/her adding a negative rep to my account.)

So are all of these cocksuckers over at DP under the age of 18, or what?

lol, yep. I'm going to have fun with this one until the ban comes.

*meh, nm. He is one out of thousands of peddlers.

I have a ton of neg rep over there under my username "WickedFire". Can ya guess why?

I do like the rivalry we have with them, but I gotta admit, Shawn Hogan and I are friends, so we have no qualms with one another whereas his users HATE us, and my users just find his users annoying and lame (I don't think we hate them yet). Could also be because so many of their users are former WarriorForum fags, and we all know why those cocksuckers hate us. ;)
