Anyone got a source of free to use photos like a directory of no copywright pictures

I need to find a place were there is a large data base of free to use and without copywright on them. A directory type of pictures to use on many subjects. Anyone got a source?

I think I used to get some stuff from here stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site

If you typed "free stock photography" into Google, I bet you'd find at least a few decent sties.

be careful and watch their user agreements. there have been a few lawsuits to come from this site for not following specified agreements (non-commercial, etc). each image has a different agreement

Do an advanced search on flickr with the Creative Commons license you need.

Thanks for both links they look great easy to search for photos but the problem with both is it looks like nothing there is for free. I did check jupiterimages on the royalty free section and what I read was I can use the image for myself but for only 60 days thats no good for me.
I guess I will have to keep looking and search google but I guess most places out there will offer more or less the same thing. I am trying to look for a place that I can go and copy or download different images to my hard drive for free with no limitations or requirements.

Sorry just check the first one out stock.xchng and looks to be better not what I stated before. Stock.xchng seems to be what I need lets me download I read the terms and looks as long as I do not sell anything with them on it its ok, I want to add them to my sites in headers and body of site. Does anyone else use them.
