Being a huge avid fan of MMA, I was overall happy about last nights card. Jon Jones is no joke, even watching him in college I knew he was special. He just DESTROYED Rampage.

I can't stand Jones.
Can't see who can beat him though, his reach is godly. There's no other LHW in the world I that can FINISH Shogun and Rampage back to back.
Next 3 challengers will probably be Rashad, Hendo, then Machida.
Can't wait till Jones moves up to heavyweight one day.

Rashad is next. But I beat Machida has his number. If not I dont see anyone beating him for a while. By the way this is the first time 205 belt was defended by the champ since the iceman. This weight class talent sucks IMO, Jones brings some excitement to it and is a finisher.

Yep, Jones' reach is 84.5, to put that into perspective he has the wing span of a 7 footer and then some... and I thought Lesnar's reach at 81 was sick.
IMO Rashad has the best chance of beating Jones, and if he can't do it, nobody will for a while.
Rashad has trained with him first hand and won't be surprised with his reach/length like everybody else he's fought. He's also very smart and has the experience/skill to set up a game plan against him, unlike Rampage who just seemed to hit the mitts as hard as he could and hoped for the best.
I think Rashad is the worst match-up for Bones yet, Jones hasn't fought anybody with the speed, smarts and freestyle wrestling ability of Rashad, therefore I give Rashad the slight edge. Jones is still a tricky fucker though with that reach. But I'm pulling for Rashad though when they do scrap. I want to see someone start checking Jones legs some more although it is kind of a risky move. The post-fight interview was interesting. Didn't realize the hand in front of face thing would be that big of a deal.

I agree with Rusky, Machida MIGHT have what it takes to slowly dismantle Jones, but the more I see of Jones...I don't know.
I agree Rashad/Jones will be a good fight, but I'd probably pick Machida to beat Jones over Rashad if I had to choose. even then, as above poster said about anderson silva vs jones mathchup, i dunno if Machida could do it very convincingly.
Jones is a talented mutant at 205, straight up. I could see him remaining champion for a LONNNNG time if he stays healthy. he is real young too, i cant imagine how beastly he will be in like 3 years.
i just hope anderson silva moves up in weight, as well as gsp, so we can shake those divisions up a bit. i wanna see gsp/silva at an agreed upon weight too....i really hope dana does not choose to deny the fans that superfight.
also, for the love of christ, i need to see the diaz brothers get their asses kicked by SOMEONE soon. they are great fighters, but they are due for ass-whoopings in my opinion...the question is who? i just think they feed them people that you know from the getgo...diaz brothers will win and both seem to always have huge reach advantages against people they fight. the people they fight are sometimes amazing fighters no doubt, but styles make fights and there are certain people that would surely have a better shot at giving nate diaz a challenge, etc. no disrespect to gomi, love the dude.
