Hey, was just wondering if anyone was good with Linked In Ads.

Tried finding some good resources on google, all a bunch of n00bs and idiots at brand agencies spewing the same crap.

The volume (perhaps my targeting is too tight) just seems to suck. Here is our targeting:

So the site we're trying to promote is Manufacturing Made Easy

overall CTR on the campaign is about .03% at the moment, the avg is supposed to be .025%

Looking at our creatives, there is one that stood out:

So at this point, I figure we can....

1. Duplicate the campaign multiple times ( I feel as though the ad server works like Facebooks)

2. Find similar images and keep launching.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Here are some boobs in exchange for help

Looking at the numbers in your post, there is nothing to suggest the first image is any more effective than the others. Because it has 6 times the impressions of the other ads, it has gotten more clicks. But if it had only had 4XX impressions like the other images there is no reason to suggest it would have been any more likely to have been clicked.

Based on your current click through rate and number of profiles targetted, you are going to have very little traffic. Looking at your targeting strategy, the obvious red flag to me is "machinery" as the target industry. Surely this should be manufacturing? Also, I would suggest browsing profiles on linkedin and seeing what people in manufacturing put as their industry. For example, I have about a dozen contacts involved in manufacturing but they all put something descriptive of the product they manufacture as the industry (e.g. Food & Beverages etc.). You would then need a way to eliminate profiles in this industry so that you are left with just manufacturers (e.g. remove resellers, service providers etc.)

Split test A LOT more. That means split test ads, targeting, landing pages and images. Try aim for better CTR. Females seem to get clicks but they aren't relevant and might get you banned from linked in if there's too much tits.

I wouldn't comment on ads but honestly you would be better off just networking through groups etc. Also, put a lead gen form right on the landing page. CEO's dont have time to watch videos over videos all day long
