Depends what your looking for. If your looking for a posh/special occassion place to eat, check out Barton G, Grazie, China Grill, Nobu or Prime One Twelve. If your looking for something more chill/relaxed check out Oliver's or Miss Yip's.
As for nightlife, if you want to be surrounded by models/beautiful people check out Set, Ink or Suite (all 3 have strict dress codes, and unless your buying 3+ bottles you need to have 2 girls per guy). If your looking for something more relaxed/bar-style you can checkout Finnegans on the River or Montys.
All the placed I named are at the beach, whatever you do, do some research on citysearch before you end up somewhere, or youll probably go to some tourist trap.
