Any tools that are missing from the AM scene?

Ok, so I have been lurking around here for about 2 months and finally starting spending some cash about 2 weeks ago, but things haven't been going as planned and I lost about $500 in PPC. This was expected, except I don't have anything else to spend.

Anyways, I know PHP (javascript and all that other good stuff for web development) and use python for client side stuff. I would like to program a tool that I could sell to get my bankroll back up to be able to try some more PPC/PPV stuff.

I have been looking around at the current tools and it looks like a lot of it is covered. I was thinking some sort of landing page rotation script for word press as I can't seem to find anything there. Is there anything that seems to be popular lately that doesn't really have a tool?

I was gonna do a PoF tool but looks like someone already beat me to it :/

Anyways, all suggestions are welcome.

whatever you do, make it modular and extendable (by others). and an interface for quering info so it can be used in other (custom) tools.

in all seriousness, i want some automated ppv scraper shit.

2nded. You'd be the man if you could write software that scrapes ppv pops. But consider you'll need to have many, many vms running, many, many proxies (which might not even make a difference), know how to thwart their vm detection and even then i think they only show a few pops per day per instance. But needless to say if you could figure all that out, scrape 24/7 and save to a database... you could start a pretty nice membership service and probably get a nice bankroll going.

edited: but then again it probably won't last long, the ppv ppl are pretty smart cookies... it would only take one signup to infiltrate your service and probably bring it down.

For the most part your better off programing stuff for your own sites or campaigns then if possible packaging that up as a general solution to a type of site or campaign and selling that

Something that makes it easier to make money promoting affiliate offers on mobile apps. That could be through collecting people's email addresses and interests/demographics via a survey, integrating coregistration leads or whatever they're called, etc. Make whatever you build have a programmatic interface, not a webpage or desktop interface so we can build our own tools around it.

imo wouldn't be worth it to scrape ppv popups. most direct-link and half the LPs are just horrible.

All of that can be circumvented by a talented cracker :xmas-smiley-022:But how much demand is there for something like this?

i'm sure anyone doing ppv would like a version of gamevance with unlimited pops heh. i know there's a version of gamevance with a shorter frequency duration, but it still takes forever to do competitive research.

i don't do PPV at all but always wondered why don't the PPV networks nick campaigns en masse. Sure people can cloak their popups but the networks have all the URLs, they can just check them from a few different proxies to see discrepancies. httrack the real lander, swop out affiliate links from a big regexp, BOOM, more monies

not serp scraper shit, aff portal is great and Corey is the man but there were great free tools for that a long time ago.

yup, exactly why i never build it.

campaigns are stolen all the time. Not from all networks but definitely some. Anybody who lasted in ppv long enough and who has been on more than one network has had this happen.

theres a particular pdf floating around on how to thwart ppv networks' vm detection but hell if i'm gonna link it here =)

You can make stuff in Python that is already done... just make it a bit better and easier to use, and cheaper. Some chap here does this with a few programs (proxy finder, keyword competition tool... etc etc). Just put your mind to it, and get it done!

why on earth would you want to create something in the AM space when there are a million better niches out there to work in that are not filled with poor high-school kids trying to learn to make money on the interwebs. And all the good AM's already have their own programmers and custom shit.

Plus you are dealing with people who like to rip stuff off, it won't be long before your tool is replicated. (think of it, people here are asking you to build a tool that rips off other stuff. It's in the AMs nature to try and find the easy way out by copying others. Same will happen to your tool)
