Any difference between coding in Limelight CRM and Zoho CRM?

I am new to this game and the company I have contracted to do my programming work is trying to charge me extra for using Zoho.com for my CRM instead of using Limelight. I originally told them I was going to use Limelight and then changed my mind, now he is telling me that because he is unfamiliar with Zoho that its going to cost me $750 and have them do 5+ hrs of work to integrate Zoho into my site.

I know this is total bs but I just want confirmation of it by everyone who has a lot more experience with this than me.

He's charging you more for the job or more per hour? Big difference. If he's already familiar with Limelight, then it will be much easier for him to do the integrations.
 
He's charging me an additional $750 for the job saying that its going to take more hours because he isn't familiar with it.
 
I really don't see the problem with this. You told him you were using 1 thing, he already knew how to do it, so he quoted you for the amount of hours it would take him to complete the job.

Now you want him to do it in a different way, which he isn't familiar with, so he's charging you for the extra work he's going to have to put in to implement the next thing.
 
Nothing wrong with it if you preagreed on another time amount.


I would suggest you make better deals in the future.

Although if you preagreed this in the beginning you are not obliged to pay this guy for learning this
