Any advice on being distracted by females? (how it affects success)

I read somewhere (pretty sure it was a WF post) that referred to a quote (possibly by Warren Buffet or some other similar successful wealthy old man) that pretty much stated that one of the biggest reasons a young male fails to live up to his potential is because he gets distracted by girls.

The poster was suggesting that this applied to IM - I'd be interested in the opinions of other older, wiser gentlemen.

Trust me I've tried, but masturbation can never replace the real thing (at least for me). That "chemical bullshit" is pretty darn powerful, and no I don't follow pop culture's portrayals of love and lust. Biggest problem I have is compartmentalization.

Compartmentalization. The problem is when it fails and it starts fucking with your rational mind (e.g. "I've planned to do this and this on my sites today but fuck it, I've got a date with some hot Puerto Rican ass"). I'd really like to be Gustavo Fring-like in my approach to business, ya know? (minus the meth labs, slicing peoples' throats and assassinating entire families of Mexican cartel heads)

Nearly all very successful men has a long time love that he's either married to or was married to while he was building his fortune. Now that's not to say he dont fuck around on her but he has to have someone he can trust (as much as u can trust a woman). Once you get past say 25 you will start to realize the importance of a steady trust worthy piece of ass

I understand how a long-term relationship can help (as long as it is with the right person, i.e. a trustworthy and supportive partner).

As long as there is no marriage involved I guess an opposite-sex "soul mate" might actually be a pretty good idea. I just don't like marriage contracts (there are many happily "married" couples complete with children who aren't legally married). It's actually a good way to filter out a lot of potential money-grubbing whores.

Don't kid yourself they r all money grubbing whores even the good ones. The only reason 90% agree to fuck u is the potential security. You just have to accept it and eventually you find the right one (you will know) so in the mean time go do what u want don't worry about it and fuck bitches acquire currencies

I'm possibly the oldest WF member. And as you all know, getting laid at night don't mean you ain't waking up horny.

Some very successful people also believe a man won't hit his stride until he reaches 55 ( I ain't that fucking old ).

Personally the only remedy I had when I was younger was my absolute dedication to auto racing -- to being the quickest. I would almost always pass up sure sex with my steady GF to go driving and street racing. I was totally obsessed.

I know this is not an answer for 99 %. But I believe it's a fact. Unless you have an all pervading, almost insane drive in you to achieve something -- you will be distracted by chicks. And even then they will still fuck with your head at times. At least this was my personal experience fwiw.

My gf is in med school. I honestly wouldn't be so focused on my biz stuff if seeing her didn't make me realize this business shit is easy when compared to her stuff. Might as well go all out or nothing.

Studying 50 hours a week = good grades.
Focusing 50 hours a week on business = that much closer to purchasing my first property.
