One of my sites has an Amazon store section that currently runs a so-called "aStore". It's a customizable iframe that serves a shopping cart system directly from Amazon. Easy, but completely SEO-hostile as search engines don't read iframes.

I'd like to replace it with something that works like the aStore but runs entirely on my own server. Must allow me to select products manually and must have very flexible templates to integrate into my site design.

I found a few things like Associate-O-Matic | Build a custom Amazon Associate Store with 1000's of items in minutes or Amazon Easy Affiliate Store Builder : Associate XML Product Feed but I have no idea if they're any good. I don't mind paying for good software but sth free and open-source à la WordPress would be ideal.

Any recommendations?

There are a lot of plugins for Wordpress that do what you want. Try reviewazon, phpzon, wpamaniche, wpzonbuilder or WP shoppingpages

Thanks for the replies, but they don't do what I want - a replacement for this:

The WP plugins just create product listings and send users to Amazon as soon as they click a product. I need them to be able to choose multiple products and manage their cart on my site and then only go to Amazon to checkout.

Sohan, I have no idea what you're trying to say with your reposting my question.

I had a couple of sites with Assoc-O-Matic shopping sections, but those sections got de-indexed by Google a few months ago. My guess is that they were classified as "thin affiliate" pages.

I'm looking at Shopperpress (just add .com to the name) as an alternative, so that I can add additional content. I think it does what you want, but they don't seem to have a trial version to test
