Do any people on the forum use a combination of affiliate marketing and running an Amazon shop? If so, do you find that reviews help your affiliate sales?

I don't use Amazon shop but I use customer reviews on my sites. Considering the are people with different mind set visiting your site customer reviews might help you push a product. Some people like to know what others have to say about the product. Other people need all the information about the item (specification etc). Some are ready to buy straight away. Be prepared for all of them.
I actually have several Amazon shops on my sites... the sites are content laden and on the content pages I have adsense and a link to the Amazon shop gateway page... works very nice.
