Putting Prime Air into commercial use will take some number of years as we advance technology and wait for the necessary FAA rules and regulations.

looool.

Cant wait till people start shooting them out of the sky for some free gadgets.

This was the first thing that popped into my head, except that it would be angry fedex/UPS workers who lost their job.

This badass...

Limitations:

1. Energy source. They would go through way too many lithium battery packs.

2. Route planning. Needs human-intelligence to avoid tree branches, power lines, birds, etc. Not so great if your package gets dropped on your roof, or in the bushes..

3. Wind. Strong winds knocking them down. Would have to hire more workers to use GPS to track down the broken ones. Or even ones with failures.

4. Customers. (You know some people are going to bitch about them not ringing the door bell. There will be assholes out there.)
