Amazon Competing with Netflix

Looks like Amazon is going to be competing with Netflix. Is anybody already a subscriber? How does the selection compare with that of Netflix?

The biggest problem that I see holding me back is that Netflix is already connected to my TV via Xbox. Thoughts?

Ya, I don't know, it sounds good but just like you I already have NetFlix through xBox and also through a Blu Ray player.

Redbox is also getting in the streaming game...should be interesting to see how it all turns out...but my bet is that all 3 (Netflix, Amazon, Redbox) can survive, while only 1 will thrive...which will probably be Netflix.
 
pros:
if you buy from amazon alot, you get free 2 day shipping on all purchases with it included
it's cheaper than netflix (79/year = ~6.50/month)

cons:
not as large of a catalog as netflix instant (1700 vs 9000 movies)
currently not set up to stream through game consoles or anything apple related

I'm sure those cons will change right quick - amazon isn't dumb.
