I posted a thread advertising my services, missed a message that told me that it will need to be approved, then accidentally posted it again upon which I saw the message.
Fearing I was going to be seen as a spammer, I PM'ed a mod about what happened.
Then I came across an old thread where a mod stated that threads with links will need approval if you're a new member, and since the BST thread I opened did contain links I tried posting the same thread a third time with all links removed. Upon which I again got the "thread will be posted on approval" message.
Now this meant three identical threads were in a queue awaiting approval, so I again PM'ed a mod telling him what just happened.
Just now I noticed a couple of members with 0 posts opening new threads in the BST forum busily giving out review copies, and I was like WTF?
Is it possible that even without hyperlinks, my post got caught in the moderation filter because it contained a URL?
I'm scared to try a fourth time for fear of looking like a spammer, so if a mod out there reads this I would really appreciate any help.
