anyone hear of this, i think it's a MLM scam, and i'm pretty sure they got one of my family members, but she really believes in it. She paid $100 for a stick that makes water Alkaline, and bought me one for my bday. I was trying really hard to hold the laughs in, I told her if she wants to be healthy spend $100 on whole foods, and walk everyday. But didn't want to be too mean, and wanted to see for my self. So this is definitely a scam right?

From what i understand the body naturally balances it ph, and if you want to make sure just supp calcium-magnesium.

Ammonia? As in Windex?

I think you mean Baking Soda. Ya its cheap too. Makes the water feel smooth probably cant add much.

Or bleach.

It's a scam. If your body was supposed to be alkaline, why is your stomach filled with acid? Each part of your body is supposed to have a different pH.

Strange, I just had a talk with a client desperately trying to sell me one of these alkaline sticks. I reckon it is also called Microwater?

I shared this link with him and he kept on saying it was "legit" without even bothering to read the page.

Check this out "Ionized" and alkaline water: snake oil on tap

Read the section under the title "The Bottomline". Pretty straightforward and to the point.

I'm more worried about filtered out the nasty shit that finds its way into drinking water.
