Note: it's 7 min long, but well worth it.

Oh man this is too good. I haven't seen this movie in years but I remember this scene got me so pumped. Good motivation for you affiliate marketers with brass balls. :cool2:

yeah I agree, I remember literally falling asleep a few minutes after that scene. :1orglaugh:

Actually I thought the whole movie was awesome. Mamet's dialogue is great, and there are some absolutely fantastic actors in that movie. I know it seems to drag a bit, but I found the whole movie to be good. Probably one of my five most favorites of all time.

The ABC speech is legend though.

I hate Alec Baldwin, but that is one of my favorite seens of all time.

"What's your name?"

"Fuck you! That's my name. You know why mister. Because you drove a Hyundai to get here tonight and I drove an $80,000 BMW...that's my name"

Definitly one of my favorite scenes in a movie. Everytime it came on cable i tried to get my roommate to watch it but he would always miss it. He finally saw it now he quotes from it all the time.

how he didn't win an Oscar for that i'll never know. maybe the best scene on film ever!

Nah.. that speech is nothing compared to these two:

1. Boiler Room - when Ben Afleck's character gives the new brokers the inspirational speech (tried getting it, but it was removed on YouTube).

2. Wall Street - Tons of great inspirational clips from Gordon Gecko (Michael Douglas).

Fucking brilliant. Thanks for posting that. It's good on so many levels, but mainly because his character is so realistic if you;ve ever worked in sales... but also because what he says is true. The rest of the movie is great as well. I highly recommend it.

Affleck is such a poser, I didn't buy him as a NO-BS, no prisoners, millionaire, super sales guy, but he is an actor I suppose, and a real millionaire to boot.

That whole scene with Vin Diesel and the doctor was NOT believable.

Boiler Room was amateurish, playground material.

:action-smiley-052:

(ps) But Gordon Gekko, now THERE's an ANIMAL.. WAKE UP BUD FOX, THIS IS YOUR WAKEUP CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
