As people know its getting harder to rank in google for new domains, so heres my tip for getting round this :
I normally register a load of domains for sites that I plan to use in future and whack a wordpress blog on there - similar to Jons scraper system - update with RSS feeds via a cron job.
6 months down the line when I get round to building the proper site, delete the blog and build the proper site - the new site normally gets indexed fully within a week, plus you have the bonus of picking some ad-income in that 6 months wait.

I havent had a domain banned using this method yet, 6 months seems to be the period in my experience, that its hard to rank new sites in.

You really won't get banned for duplicate content (unless the person owning the content complains to Google), but you pagerank and rankings, (what this topic is about) might take a hit.

leave a reciprocol link atleast to whoever your scraping

Does it matter whether it is a site or a parking page?

or should I use just one original landing page? or does it have to be a real site?
