Has anyone expirimented with affiliate marketeing by:

1. Passing the leads straight to an offer and getting paid or.
2. Having the leads fill out a form and log their info in your database and then send them several related offers.

Example

You run an ad for credit repair. Is it better to send the traffic straight to an offer or capture the data and send them several offers over the next few days.

I realize that method one is the best for instant revenue but over time method two may do better.

I will be testing this out in the near future and will post my findings.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this before.

i always use a name capture page usally custom build (landing page) if i dont have time i usally just use the vendors page and have a pop in subcribe to a free tips book or some thing related to the offer ps i always host the page on my site and usally call it mysite.com/keywordforoffer that way i can track and test as some one said befor direct linking is a science in its self

It would be best for you to test it out yourself, as every niche is different. Here's an alternative idea that can generate multiple revenue streams - You could create a landing page that lists multiple related offers (and I suggest you do some split testing of designs for that) and try to drive the visitor directly to multiple offers.

This is similar to that. I put two offers on one page. Usually people will sign up for both. On the thank you page I put a third offer there and 1 - 5 fill that one out. 3 offers off of one ppc click. As I set up a ten part autoresponder showing a different ad featured each day. On the last day I send out all the offers on the last day so just in case they may have missed one. 1 click 15 different cpa's to see.
