So yah, November was my first month in the world of affiliate marketing as an affiliate (3 years at Azoogle as a media buyer/affiliate manager before this).
Although I am happy with the profit I had generated, I had fallen into the evil Net 15 pay cycle. Spent all my money durring Nov 1 to 30 and now I am dead broke as I sit here and tell all you other noob affiliates to manage your investment/budget according to the pay cycle of whichever cpa network you are with.

this is not a noob mistake alone. I know someone who does this on a large scale and he is going to run out of money this month before he gets paid. Shit happens. Use your credit cards etc if you are making a profit to get you through!

Visa is your best friend ;)

Not sure what your credit rating is but as long as you don't owe a shitload and if your gonna carry a balance to get started, make sure you have the lowest possible interest rate. It adds up.

If you call and tell them you have a better offer at x.xx% they will usually match it or beat it considerably.

yah i maxed out my visa while i was at it now i got to pay it and get a business card with a bigger limit.

Most cards have a 30 day grace period as long as you pay them off before that time you can extend out your usable free money to 60 days with proper management. 1-31 for adwords/etc and then pay and have another 30 from there. Just be careful and be religious about it. Also it's always good to pay for everything with a CC as you can get miles as well. If you're spending 10-30k a month that's a lot of free flights :)

I've been using my paypal debit card to pay for my ppc campaigns. I get 3% back for every dollar spend. Not a whole lot of money, but money is money.
