Affiliate marketing: Search of content?

What do you guys think is the best way to advertise our landing pages on adwords? Should we use both content and search? Or maybe just one of the two.

Is it even possible to make a campaign that is search only or content only?

2, search only is best but that does not mean you can't make the content network work for you if you have some skill

Traffic from Content converts at a much lower % so I generally either turn off content altogether or alter my bids for the content network accordingly.
