Affiliate Marketing Plan...sort of

Okay, what do you think of this...

Rec-Rooms.com is my affiliate / directory site. Currently, it's just a directory with AdSense ads.

What I was thinking:

• Home page with directory links toward the bottom
• Leave AdSense on top and bottom
• Put articles on homepage about various rec room things (activities, furniture, etc...)
• Link to advertisers in content and have small (125x125) banners along the side.
• Optimize content and meta (duh)
• Get more pics
• Find some good link partners, send emails to sites I have currently listed in directory asking for reciprocal links

I'm sure I'm missing some obvious stuff, feel free to make suggestions.

Ask for one way links from bloggers

Pay for advertiing on high traffic sites

send out a press release

write a bunch of articles for distribution

make sure the content is worth visiting
