I started running this first page submit offer a few days ago. I sent some traffic to it, and got about five hundred leads. Some people on WF mentioned they were screwed with submits. So I thought I do my due diligence before I start sending serious traffic to this network. I AIM my AM asking him if there is any cap or limitations on the offer. Here's what he asks me:

"Hey would it be possible to get a screen shot of the ad you are running on facebook? my merchant guy is asking me"

I told him "no way" of course. Is it typical for affiliate manager to ask for this kind of stuff?

You did the right thing by saying "no way", never EVER hand your stuff over. I never had it happen to me but lots of other have.

problem is major fraud on first page submit offers so maybe its not converting for the advertisers or you breaking there advertising restrictions but at the end of the day tell them to fuck off and if they push you jump on another offer or cpa network

Let's just say that this network has a lot of email/zip submit offers. I don't want to badmouth them, as they are a good network in my mind, and till this point AM was great. If you really want to know what network it is, PM me.

The nerve of them passing on a request from a merchant. BASTARDS. How dare they question an affiliate. All affiliates are always 100% legit in their traffic sources. Take a photo of your middle finger and email that to them as your traffic source. Fucking networks, they probably just want to steal your awesome campaign for themselves because I bet they've never seen your method before. After all, networks are run by trained monkeys, OR a trained monkey would do a better job.

Fuckers.

Actually lots of networks run in house IM divisions also, and so do some AM's. So handing your shit over is not exactly a smart move - period.

Let's end on the note of - go fuck yourself!

Even if it's a request from the merchant, there's a chance they want to take that promotion method and use it themselves. Why make it easy on them by just giving it up when asked?

Um you seem to be confused. Since when is a screenshot of the ad needed to determine if it's legit traffic? Seems like ROI would tell them that.

And what, you think networks are above it? There's one I know for sure that at the very least copies the generic "blog" style lander that other affiliates use. Granted, a lot of other people do as well(a search for a quote from it brings back like 50+ results) and internal data isn't really needed since the ads are godamn everywhere, but they're definitely not against the concept.

You could always just make a new ad that's nothing like your real one, then show them a screenshot of that one.

Well, guess what? They asked me to pause my ads as the merchant is not satisfied with the quality of traffic. Which sucks, cause that was a 150% ROI campaign. Fuck....

as a last resort you should ask If you can work the offer at a lower rate.

So send the traffic to another network with a similar offer. no biggie.

its suspicious that you contacted them and then they asked to see the ad. If it was a major deal shouldnt they have contacted you first?
